The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repairs on commercial and regional aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety, airworthiness, and regulatory standards applicable in Mexico. The position requires proven experience in MRO environments and a high level of technical and documentation discipline.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial aircraft and regional jets in accordance with manufacturer manuals and applicable regulations.
• Conduct inspections of components, engines, and mechanical systems to ensure airworthiness.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and propose effective corrective actions.
• Accurately record all maintenance activities in logbooks and technical systems.
• Strictly adhere to safety, quality, and aviation regulatory procedures.
• Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure the proper release of aircraft.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
• Proven experience in MRO (heavy maintenance) environments with commercial and regional aircraft.
• Valid AFAC Class I License – Airframe and Powerplant (mandatory). FAA A&P license is a plus.
• Intermediate spoken English proficiency, capable of technical communication in the workplace.
• Must possess a personal toolbox.
